Cape Codders’ Serenade to the Ocean

27 June, 2025 – TRURO, MA – As we close out World Ocean Month, join the 25 minute love story to the waters around us. A love story shared by all of those lured to this peninsula by the singular beauty of its pearl necklace of pristine coastline. On World Oceans Day on June 8, community members including scientists, artists and writers, came together at the Payomet Performing Arts Center in Truro to express that shared love by reading their favorite ocean-themed poetry - and serenading the sea.
